The Guy

The Guy has two primary characters, Tall and The Guy. The deeper into an affair they go the more they find life is a messy tapestry of experiences. This poetic tale weaves together threads of the intricate and profound impact they have on each other. In the end, The Guy becomes a transformative force in Tall taking control of her life again. The enigmatic characters leave the reader feeling introspective and contemplative on the universal path to finding love.

I just received the book yesterday, sat down with it and a cup of coffee this morning. I couldn’t put it down until I finished the whole thing.

I had to admit when I started reading the reviews on page one — I was jealous (How did she get people to say such wonderful things about her work? Did she pay them?); I was skeptical (These were some pretty glowing recommendations); I was curious and anxious to see what was inside. I didn’t know most of the reviewers, but I have met and been impressed with Angela Jackson-Brown.
So I dove into the text. Marilyn’s images are vivid and real. Spacing them throughout the narrative kept me turning pages and FEELING.
Back to those reviews: She got people to say such wonderful things, because the work deserved it!
    Congratulations on a masterpiece!

I have never been so jealous of another man. I want a woman to write about me like that, especially you
